Society owns a variety of tent canopies that are used primarily at Fair time (Thanksgiving Weekend) but are also rented out to local groups/organizations/functions.
Tents range in size from 6' by 10' to 30' by 85'.
Most canopies are excellent quality - some older canopies may have slight discolouration.
Society rents the canopies which are erected and taken down by Society volunteers and/or with some summer student assistance.
Society does provide full service for some functions such as weddings and will provide tent canopy, sidewalls, tables and chairs, dance floor and sound systems, if needed.
Accessory equipment such as lighting and electrical cords are also available.
Smaller tents can be located on pavement being a framed structure (clean enclosed water barrels can be used as weights for the corners thereby avoiding stakes through the pavement).
Larger tents are rope and pole tents and are generally used on grass/non pavement surfaces.
