The classes and rules for the competition are:
- One chainsaw will be used by all competitors
- Minimum age requirement is 15 years for chainsaw and 12 years for crosscut on show date
- Two classes for chainsaw – mens and ladies
- Waiver sheet must be signed
- All participants must wear safety equipment. Apparel will be supplied by the Agricultural Society
- Log sawing competitions are open to teams of two individuals
- Please register for the competition with the Secretary prior to the start of the event
- All competitors must be members of the Burford Agricultural Society and hold a valid 2010 membership card
- The prizes to be awarded per class will be as follows:
- Plaques for first place in each category and rosette ribbons for second and third plus prize money payout as follows: $15 for first place, $10 for second place, $5 for third place.
