An entry may consist of a single individual or a team of two individuals. This fee must be received at the time of the submission of the Entry Form which is due by September 30th, 2010. There is no limit on the number of entries 3There will be one category for the 2010 BBQ Grilling Competition, that being Beef 4Each entrant will be provided with the meat to be used in the competition by Bountiful Brant. The meat can be picked up by the contestants between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at the Competition Location (inside the Main Gate). The Competition will proceed rain or shine. Seasonings, preparation, any special ingredients, cooking utensils, pots and dishes, a fire extinguisher, and coolers to keep meat in, will be provided by the entrant(s). Each entrant is also responsible for providing their own barbecue unit although two or three units may be available for use, if needed 5The competition will proceed in the early afternoon with judging to occur at 3:30 P.M. Cooking will be judged on the basis of Taste – 50%, Texture – 30%, andPresentation – 20%. A commentator will be in attendance from 3:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M 6Prize Money will be $250.00 for First, $150.00 for Second and $100.00 for Third. The winners of the Competition will be announced within ½ hour of the finishing of the cooking session Entry Form - Word Document
